myspace, purevolume

At only 21, Scott Windsor (a.k.a. The Lyndsay Diaries) has written what feels like diary entries recited as a guitar strums. The lyrics are pretty in their adolescent simplicity, and production is sparingly used to emphasize their meaning.

The only detractors from this album are the repetitive chords and Windsor’s voice. He is very sweet, but so breathy at times that he sounds prepubescent.

I enjoyed the title track, “Paper Airplane Dreams,” and “The Consequences of Learning How to Fly” because of their production. Had Windsor added layers to his other songs, I would be obsessed with this album.
