review policy
I listen to anything and review everything other than most hip-hop and rap (I’m not familiar enough with the genres to do it justice). There’s no real method to my madness here – I basically review anything that catches my eye. If you’ve got questions or suggestions, email me at awaitstheday@gmail.com.
If you’re a music artist or represent one:
I will only pay attention to an email if you provide pertinent information about the artist, ask (nicely) for a review, AND/OR provide music samples for me to listen to.
If you’re a reader of this blog:
you can rest assured that what you’re reading is my opinion, not that of a PR exec, an artist, or another reviewer on a different site. The provision of free music from an artist/PR exec makes my life easier, but it doesn’t change my opinion. After all, considering how big the internet is these days, I can easily get it on my own can’t I?
