Is it just me, or is every band that comes out of Las Vegas influenced by The Smiths?

Ignoring all the rabid teeny-bopper fangirls, this album has some merit to it. It’s well-produced, the lyrics remind me of Blink-182 at their best, and the rock beat is pleasing enough to get radio-play while punk enough to get a little bit of street cred. The long song titles, however, just need to stop.

One of the more unique features about this album is the creativity involved in it. They’ve split the album into two separate parts, complete with an intermission to indicate the difference. The first half has a synthesizers and drum machines, while the second half has a piano and accordian. If only it wasn’t such pop fodder. They could have really made this into something distinctive and amazing otherwise.
